Odgers Ray & Berndtson, is ranked as the number one executive search firm in the U.K. and the sixth largest executive search firm worldwide. When their China office moved to new premises in Shanghai in 2007, Ms de Wolfe Pettit was approached to source an impactful art work for their reception area and front office. Most of OR&B’s client base are executives from leading multinational and Chinese companies and they sought something that was striking and would provide a talking point, without being overly intrusive.

Emily very quickly understood the brief and visited our office to look at the space. From here she quickly short-listed a number of artists for us and met with us to go through the pieces. Her relationships with colleges and emerging artists gave us some very interesting and relatively undiscovered works, which was refreshing.

The final result was a piece by Chen Yu from Sichuan, which we are delighted with. The work is vibrant and engaging and is always complimented by clients who visit our office.
