CAO YING, Client Relations | Shenzhen Associate

Cao Ying (曹盈) is a Masters graduate from the University of Warwick in The History of Art, Business and Collecting and holds a Bachelor's degree in English Broadcasting and Anchoring from The University of Communications, Beijing. A native of Ningbo, Ying has worked in television and the Arts in London and Beijing respectively since 2011. Cao Ying began her career at the English News department of China Central Television (CCTV), Beijing, where she edited hourly global news broadcasts and conducted interviews with reporters worldwide, including liaison with journalists televising live. Concurrent to her studies in the UK, Ms Cao worked as a reporter and editor of art features for a Chinese weekly newspaper based in London, reporting on art events in the capital, including Asian Art Week London and introducing international art fairs to their Chinese readership in Mandarin, alongside interviews with prominent curators, artists and galleries from China. Whilst in the UK, Ms Cao also undertook an internship at Annely Juda Fine Art, supporting their gallery's promotion in Asia and worked in the press office of the Olympia Art Fair, London, liaising between galleries and the media. Upon returning to China, Ms Cao has worked as a programme officer at The China International Center For Economic And Technical Exchanges, Beijing (public and private sector); UNDP, Beijing where she worked as a programme coordinator dealing with major donors and most recently as a Resources Officer for The British Council, Shanghai. She is based in Shenzhen for Peking Art Associates. Cao Ying joins the Peking Art Associates' team bringing her expertise in private client relations, her appreciation of art and knowledge of the latest developments in contemporary Chinese art. Ying speaks fluent Mandarin, English and has a working knowledge of French.
