EMILY DE WOLFE PETTIT, Founder & Creative Director

    Emily de Wolfe Pettit (艾美丽) is an independent Chinese art specialist and cross-cultural strategist with over ten years’ experience working with artists and institutions within China and the presentation of Chinese art internationally. Ms Pettit first came to China in the role of researcher at Bei Jing Da Xue (Peking University) in 2004, since which time she has accumulated extensive knowledge of the contemporary Chinese art world from the multiple angles of major artists, collectors, critics, curators, art academicians, art journalists and publishers. Over this period she has acquired close expertise of the often distinct motives and contextual requirements of collectors of Chinese art in mainland China and the West, guiding the latter far beyond a narrow approach of “export art”.     MICHELLE HO, Editorial Manager

    Michelle Ho (何晓箖) has experience as a writer, documentary producer, and branding & PR consultant. Complementary to her role as the Editorial Manager and exclusive writer for Peking Art Associates' exhibitions, Michelle is a partner at Yuanfang Media, the Emmy-award winning team behind Last Train Home, Fallen City and China Heavy Weight where she is involved in documentary film and branded content development and production. Before joining the independent documentary and art world, Michelle was Branded Content Manager at DMG Entertainment (a China-based movie studio and 4A advertising company) where she developed creative content, formats and end-to-end entertainment solutions for clients. During her career, she has written and published numerous articles, speeches, scripts, opinion editorials and storylines for print, online and TV media, including contemporary art reviews. Michelle has worked at China Central Television and comes from a public affairs and public relations background with global agencies APCO and Hill & Knowlton.     MICHELLE FENG, Head Researcher

    Michelle Feng (冯潇) is Peking Art Associates’ Head Researcher for initiatives between academic institutions in the UK and China and art consulting projects. Michelle Feng has Masters in Art History from the University of Warwick with distinction. Ms Feng has worked intensively in the art world in London, both from market and institutional vantage points. In the former, Ms Feng has held gallery roles for Butchoff’s Antiques and latterly Thomas Coulborn & Son. In both positions she was responsible for Chinese client relationships, both solidifying existing and facilitating new ones, and undertook business development with Chinese museums and art institutions, including project bidding and negotiating. Ms Feng also has experience participating at BADA and Masterpiece Art Fairs, receiving collectors from mainland China in their art acquisitions. Institutionally, Ms Feng has held voluntary positions at the Arts Council England, supporting artists’ programmes, and Tate Britain where she worked in the Tate Archive.     PATRICIA TANG XIAO YAN, Head Project Manager

    With a ten year background in operations and finance, Patricia Tang (唐小燕) is Peking Art Associates' Head Project Manager with a particular focus on the management of our hospitality art projects that involve an international team. Having started her career at Guangxi Yinhe Avantis Wind Power Company, later Hisoft, and for China Hewlett-Packard in internal operations including Resource Management and Finance for five years, Patricia is experienced in dealing with Chinese and an international team. Producing our art works locally in China with a global reach on a large scale, at PAA Ms Tang primarily oversees quality control and liaison. She also coordinates logistics to bring to bear our annual international exhibitions. Ms Tang graduated from Beijing's Information, Science & Technology University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Her interests include hiking, travel and photography. Patricia speaks fluent Mandarin and English.

    JEREMIE THIRCUIR, Art Director

    Jeremie Thircuir is the Art Director of Peking Art Associates. A Sorbonne university graduate who has been immersed in the Chinese contemporary art world for over 12 years, Jeremie has been active in its promotion in the West through a number of channels. In his capacity as art advisor, he has worked with both corporate and private clients, in both sourcing/ commissioning art works and setting up an academic structure to exhibitions and collections. He has curated a large amount of solo and group exhibitions for museums and galleries with coherence and accessibility as main principles. As Publisher through his own publishing house, he has published books by today’s leading contemporary artists such as Nobuyoshi Araki, Liu Xiaodong, Xu Bing and Liu Bolin and has developed a worldwide network of distribution for his titles.

    Daniel Wecke, Key Client Relations

    Daniel Wecke is responsible for PAA's Key Client Relations. Based in Beijing since 2012, Daniel has opened and developed core strategy for a number of companies regionally during the past six years, including one of the largest worldwide online incubators, Rocket Internet, where he served as Chief Investment Officer in China & South East Asia and is co-founder of two beverage companies: Ping Dynasty, and China's leading premium craft beer contract brewery, Urbrew. Daniel is very familiar with the hospitality and food and beverage sector, as well as public relations and the successful signing of major local Chinese partners, which he utilizes in his role for PAA. Daniel holds an MBA in General Management from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, Essen, Germany, with a focus on strategy and business development. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Beijing.

    DA SHU, Production Manager

    Based in Shenzhen and working as an interior designer for over 15 years, Da Shu is in charge of producing artworks from the best manufacturers of the region.

    FU TIAN, Events Support

    Fu Tian (付甜) is a native of Shandong Province with a Bachelor in Literature of Theatre, Film & Television from Shandong University of the Arts. In addition to her keen interest in theatre and film, Tian has a strong professional background in the tourism and hospitality sector, having worked for both local Chinese SME's and multi-national Western companies, including Ji'nan South Lake Jade Dew Tea Science and Technology Development Company; The Ritz Carlton, Hua Mao, Beijing; and most recently for Coning Technologies China. Tian has extensive experience in customer relations with both Chinese and Western clientele; overseeing team building programmes for up to several hundred employees; and the many facets of Chinese corporate events' culture. Fu Tian is Peking Art Associates' Events Coordination and Liaison Manager. She speaks fluent Mandarin and is proficient in English.
